Sadhguru is a yogi & spiritual leader from India, who recently launched the Save Soil movement in response to the desperate crisis facing the world’s soils, which results in food poverty and water scarcity for millions of people and other life forms on our planet. He recently undertook a 100-day lone motorcycle journey, traveling over 30,000 miles accross 27 countries, and meeting with numerous community leaders, policy makers and children along the way, in order to raise awareness about this crisis. He has vowed to continue the Save Soil movement until the necessary soil-friendly policy change takes place around the world.

John D Liu has made some of the most inspiring documentary films over the last few decades of his career and is a world-renowned expert in ecosystem restoration. He initiated the Ecosystem Restoration Camps movement that now comprises over 50 locations worldwide. John continues to work on a number of large-scale ecosystem restoration projects in different parts of the world.
You’ll learn about the solutions that are being implemented around the world by groups of passionate people to combat Soil Erosion, Ecosystem Collapse, Water Scarcity, Food Poverty, Loss of Biodiversity and Climate Change.

Webinar 1: How to Accelerate Soil and Ecosystem Restoration

In Webinar 1, How to Accelerate Soil & Ecosystem Restoration, Dr. Elaine Ingham will be joined by some of the folks who are working on Ecosystem Restoration projects and they’ll be discussing how the process works and how the Soil Food Web Approach can be used to ensure success. The soil biome can be repaired at the start of a regeneration project and this can accelerate the process. Using Dr. Elaine’s microscopy technique, you can monitor the soil biome, tracking changes weekly, which will enable you to compare the effectiveness of different strategies that you may be experimenting with. If the soil biome responds well to a particular strategy, this is a strong indication that plants and the rest of the ecosystem will flourish, because the soil biome underpins the entire ecosystem.
